During the recent 'lockdown' period, I took the opportunity to explore a range of different media and techniques. Plant Study 1 is the first of a number of spontaneous brush stroke plant sketches created in my garden. Subsequently recoloured in a rich charcoal colour to complement the mineral hues of Seed, Bud and Flourish.
